It is said that success doesn’t come to you… You go towards success.

The key to success is hard work and determination. Yes!!! Success is hard to achieve, but the person who has a determination to always move forward, take a leap over obstacles and never look behind is the winner. That winner is successful.

Have you ever thought what make a person successful. What made Mahatma Gandhi successful in leading India towards Independence from British. Or what made Thomas Alva Edison successful in discovering the invention of the bulb. Or what made Walt Disney successful even after so many failures.  

So what makes a successful person different from ordinary peoples? What makes them stand out from the crowd? Well, it’s the quality of a person that makes them different from others… Let’s know them one by one. And let me know if I have missed any in the comment section below…

This is first rule and a secret to be successful. They always believe in themselves, their capabilities, abilities and talent. A successful person believes in himself when no one else does. And when they believe in them self, they prove their ability in front of others and convince others to believe them as well. And this makes them stand out of the crowd.

They have a positive attitude towards their life and work. They don’t bring any negative thought in their mind. They always believe that no matter what they will achieve success and their success is inevitable. They know that one day or the other they will succeed. As they keep learning, welcomes feedback and make improvement in their work and themselves as well.

Good thing often takes time and they know that. And being patience is a very difficult task and very few people can have this characteristic. They understand that they will fail many times, but they will surely succeed when the time comes. So don’t be desperate, anxious or annoyed, just be patient. 

A successful person is never satisfied with his/her work. They believe in improving their work to make it better than ever. The process of learning something new and improving them is the quality a successful person. So don’t be satisfied with your work and keep the process of improvement and learning turned on, until you reach perfection.

They don’t believe in talking they believe in execution. They don’t believe in saying they prove themselves with the results. They not only dream but they also work on it to make their dream come true. Work more, talk less is what I mean. Work hard in silence, and let your success make noise.

They never give up. Successful people rather prefer trying over quitting. As the term quitting is for losers and not for winners. Whenever they get a thought of quitting, they motivate themselves, not to quit. So whenever you feel like quitting just remember why you started.

The word “can’t” doesn’t exist in their dictionary. They remove the word "can’t" and include the word Can in their life. Because other people said to them that “you can’t do this”. They told themselves that I want, I can and I will. Instead of giving a reason why you can’t, give a reason why I can to yourself. So replace “Can’t” with Can.

Even after failing thousand times they keep on trying with a belief that they are going to make it. Instead of quitting, they try if one thing doesn’t work, then they come up with another solution. Instead of running away from the problem they find a solution to solve it. So keep trying different solutions to your problems, until you find a correct one. 

They love what they do. We all should love what we do and do what we love. If you love your work you will never feel that you are working. In short, when you are in love with your work, then you put a lot of effort and hard work more than before. They do their work with a lot of determination, dedication and devotion. 

They carry the attitude of “Yes I Can Do This”. They keep themselves motivated even in the worst phase of their life. They know that they are going to fail, maybe seven times. But they will succeed the eighth time. The attitude of “I Can If I Think I Can” keeps them going on and on towards success.
