Women : Stronger Than Ever…

Sara Jameel | March 08, 2018 | Be the first to comment!
We are never tired of playing so many roles in our life

                                   I Am A Women… What’s Your Superpower???

Before I start, I would like to share a few lines from a beautiful poem “Still I Rise” by Maya Angelous an American Poet.. So here it goes…

You May Shoot Me With Your Words,
You May Cut Me With Your Eyes,
You May Kill Me With Your Hatefulness,
But Still, Like Air, I Will Rise……

That’s the qualities that you will see in a woman. No matter how hard and painful our life is but we will always rise up each time after we fall… And we raise much stronger than ever. No matter what we have been through in our entire life, but we always manage to gather our strength to move on.

I am a proud woman… We women have done something really great, that’s why we get such a special day called “Women’s Day”. And off course we deserve it because “Women” are the most valuable, expensive and special god’s gift to all the men out there. Women comes into a man’s life as a Mother, Daughter, Sister and Wife. She is not only women she is also a great source of strength, support, joy and positivity for her family.

We have a soft heart, but we are strong at the same time. Today a woman wants to be independent as being an independent woman gives the feeling of security, satisfaction and being strong. And that’s what women are doing today-they are becoming independent.

A survey says that in 1950 only 35% women participated in the labour force, but in 2013 this percentage increased up to 57.2%, according to the data from Bureau Of Labour Statistics . Today’s women want to be financially independent, we don’t want to depend on others for our needs.

Today’s women are not only financially independent, but they are also doing well in various fields like sports, acting, dancing, singing, business, corporate world, Air force, Army and many more.

The want of doing something great in our life gave us such great personalities such as sportswomen like Ashley Martin (American Football Player), Serena Williams (Tennis Player), P.V.Sindhu (Indian Badminton Player), Mary Com (Indian Boxer)… Actresses like Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lawrence, Piryanka Chopra… Business Womens like Mary Barra (Chairman and CEO, General Motors), Indra Nooyi (Chairman and CEO, PepsiCo), Sheryl Sandberg (COO, Facebook)…

We believe in our self, we love ourself, we don’t doubt our self, we believe in progressing, we believe in moving forward, we wanna be strong, we believe in living our dreams, we believe in chasing our dream… But we don’t believe that we can’t do it, we don’t wanna be weak and we don’t wanna stop.
We not only make sacrifices for our family, but we also have the potential to support our family. We don’t expect much in return, all we want is your love, support and respect. You don’t need to respect a women only on women’s day, respect her 365 days because you don’t need any special day to respect someone.

“Happy Women’s Day” to all the wonderful, happening, strong and lovely women out there. Stop doubting yourself and start loving yourself.

No Means No!!!

Sara Jameel | February 08, 2018 | Be the first to comment!
There Is No Scope Of But In The Word “No”.

“No” is not just a word, it’s a whole sentence in itself. And this word doesn’t need any argument, clarification, explanation or any interpretation. When she says it, then she has said everything. Here
No means a No. And when someone says so, you must stop.

Well, it is very clear that what my blog post is all about. And it is a very serious concern that we women are facing today. When a woman says “No” then it clearly means “No”. The meaning of “no” is the same what every guy means when “he” says no.

When she say it, then she genuinely mean it. You can’t force her. Whether the women saying this is known to you or she is your friend, girlfriend, wife or a sex worker, when she says “No” then it is a “No”.

When she laughs while talking to a guy or smiles while talking to a guy or is a bit friendly with a guy, that can be a natural behavior of a girl and not a hint that she is available. I mean everyone has their own natural behavior. But some feudal minded man misunderstands it as a “Hint of yes”. And anyone’s natural behavior should not be misunderstood.

Going out for a dinner or what type of dress she should wear or what should be the length of her dress or working on a night shift is purely her choice, just like any other guy who is free to make his own choice, just like any other guy who live the type of life he wants.

Guys stop taking her “no” on your ego and learn to accept it. If ego of a woman doesn’t get hurt with your "No", then why does your ego gets hurt when she says it. All the guys out there must realize that a no means no.

It is a message for all men out there that don’t take women for granted because she knows how to protect her dignity. She knows how to protect herself. She knows how to fight for her self-respect. Today’s women are stronger than ever.

Respect Women!!!! And Respect Their Words!!!

The Character Flaw...

Sara Jameel | January 10, 2018 | |Be the first to comment!

Today I was looking for the meaning of a word called “Character Flaw”… And when I searched it on Google the result that I got was this… “faultmistake, or weaknessespecially one that happens while something is being planned or made, or that causes something not to be perfect.”

According to you what is the meaning of character flaw??? (You are welcome to share it in the comment section below). The person who drinks has a character flaw…. The person who smokes has a character flaw…. Or a woman or girl having an affair has a character flaw….

Well, drinking and smoking habits is not a character flaw because it is just a “Bad Habit” and not a character flaw. But according to some people women having an affair or she had an affair in the past makes her characterless. But if a man or a boy is having an affair, then he is not a characterless.

This kind of mentality will ever change??? I don’t think so…

I know it is “surprisingly” not “surprising”… According to the “Gossiping Aunties” of our society… Even if a girl is having a normal conversation with a guy, she has an affair with that guy. And the funny part is the reaction of our gossiping aunties. “Hey! Look, there she is daughter of Mrs. Sharma, right??? Hmm… I am sure she has an affair with that guy… What a shameless girl she is…” And a tag of characterless is given to that girl. I really don’t know why people start providing a “Character Certificate” to a girl having an affair. Even if it’s not asked.

Well, I don’t think this is right. As having an affair or not is her decision. And every girl has a right to choose her life partner. And will they ever use the same words for their daughters??? I am sure not.

According to me having an affair is not a character flaw… It’s just a flaw that some people have in their mentality… But I didn’t get the correct meaning of “Character Flaw” yet, the aunties were talking about… I am still in the search of the correct meaning of the word “Character Flaw”….

Women : Synonyms Of Sacrifice

Sara Jameel | December 28, 2017 | 2 Comments so far
It is not at all wrong to say that woman is synonyms of the word "sacrifice". But why only women are expected to make sacrifices through out their life ? First she makes sacrifices as a daughter, then as wife and later as a mother.

I would like to start my article with few lines about women so here it goes.......
"If men are the leader of their family, then woman are the backbone of her family.
Woman are like candles she lights up the place where ever she goes.
Woman are of strong will power, don't test her because she will always prove herself.
Woman are strong, and every time she is broken, she stands up, collects all the pieces and rebuild herself.
And Woman are soft, when she loves".

Women have so many roles to play in her life such as being an ideal daughter by obeying to what their parents say. As a loving Sister. As an obedient Wife by sacrificing her career and dreams for her husband. As a caring Daughter-In-Law to lighten their in-laws house with lot of joy and love. As a caring Mother by giving upon their whole life for caring and loving their children without expecting anything in return. Also as a Teacher to teach the right values to their children and making them a right person.

Read this beautiful articleA WOMAN’S LIFE IS ALL ABOUT SACRIFICE…

But a woman, she is never tired of playing so many roles in her life. And she manages to plays all the roles so gracefully. Sacrifice of a women is unique and incomparable. She sacrifice all her life and dreams for her family. She loves her family unconditionally.

Even today in many parts of India, there are many girl child who has to sacrifice her education as people think that if they will educate their son, then he will earn for them. And they don't find educating their girl child beneficial as they have a mind set that "Her daughter has to get married so its useless to educate them". But thanks to the government of India who came up with a programme called "Beti Bachao, Beti Padao" which means "SAVE GIRL CHILD, EDUCATE GIRL CHILD". And Many people are supporting it as well.

As a wife she is expected to sacrifice all her dreams and wishes. She is asked to leave her job, as according to people her first priority is her husband and his family. Her job is to take care of her family, not going out for work.

But after all these sacrifices its very disheartening that crime against women is increasing day by day not only in India but in other countries. Domestic Violence, Rape, Sexual Abuse, Harassment, Eve Teasing, Emotional Abuse and many more. Will this ever stop?

All I want to say is Respect women and their sacrifice. I would like to conclude my article by saying that " Woman don't expect much in return. All she wants is to be loved, cared and respected by the people she loves and people in the society."

What do "You" think about women's sacrifice? Share your thoughts in the comment section below...
